I'm back from Microsoft Ignite, which was my third event in the past five weeks. I get to stay home for a couple of weeks before heading to the premier event of the year, THWACKcamp 2017! If you haven't registered for THWACKcamp, yet, go here and do it now.

With new Microsoft breakthroughs, general purpose quantum computing moves closer to reality

By far the biggest announcement last week at Microsoft Ignite was (for me, at least) their research into quantum computing. I’m looking forward to using up to 40 qubits of compute on Azure in a future billing cycle. I can’t wait to both pay my bill and not pay my bill each month, too!
