Dameware Remote Everywhere (DRE) – Mandatory Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Starting June 15, 2020, we will begin requiring that Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) be enabled by all users to access either the SolarWinds Dameware Remote Everywhere Administration Area or the Desktop Console. We're doing this because security matters now more than ever. The 2FA feature is one of the simplest and most robust multi-factor authentication methods you can use to guard against cyber threats. During the recent pandemic, we have witnessed an incredible demand for secure and reliable services. With so many more people working remotely, threats are on the rise and security must be a principle concern, so please enable 2FA at your earliest convenience. To enable 2FA, you will need to install an authenticator. We support four to accommodate preference and different device types:

Google Authenticator (Android/iOS)

Duo Mobile (Android/iOS)

Authy (Android/iOS/Desktop)

Authenticator (Windows Phone)
