When a technician connects to a remote host, the remote inherit's the technician's keyboard NumLock/CapsLock status; however, the original remote status is not restored upon disconnect. This is inconvenient for the remote user and often results in another help desk call or locked account since the user may not be aware of these keys' status when entering passwords right after a support session.
It would be best if the remote host's keyboard status is automatically restored upon disconnect.
