Dameware 12.1 Beta 1 is now available

I have some great news. Over the last few months we have been busy working on issue. While we had attempted to update only specific areas of the Windows 10 connection code, this did not result in the quality we needed and our only step was to work with an entirely new way to connect to Windows 10 (and Windows 2019 pre releases) so that we could help ensure a positive experience going into the future. That feature is now available in the Beta 1:

Beta feedback is one of the key avenues we use to inform and adjust what we're building so that it fits your need and your environment.  We'll take feedback anytime we can get it, but now is the best time to provide feedback that will impact the product.

To get access to the beta, you need to be a customer on active maintenance for Dameware and sign up here.  To share feedback, please post on the Dameware Beta forum.

works well on my win10 1803

I have found and installed this version today.

I use Windows 10 1803 to control Windows 10 1803.

Positives: fast - no problems with refreshing

Negative: very often doesn't follow the controlled PC,

especially when I try to Run applications as Administrator

or when application asks for allowane to change e.g regedit

Is there a possibility to extend the duration of the beta?

Are there any news, when this version will be finalized?

We're releasing Beta2....I'll create a post shortly.

Beta 2 was released. The link above will take you to Beta2 bits.

I hope when I'm in focus on a machine I am controlling, if I hit WinKey+R the run dialog box comes up on the machine I am in focus, NOT my machine!

Interested if there are bug fixes like that and things like CTRL+ALT+INS passing CTRL+ALT+DEL to the remote machine (much like vmware does it).
