The MSI installers for DWRCS are pre-hot fix (10/24/18). Can updated MSIs be posted to allow us to push an update out to all of the clients running the old agent? I don't see a way to do that with the current zip file releases, as those appear to be aimed at the full Dameware Mini Remote installs.
I have the same question. It's a chicken and egg scenario with these HF. And I don't have access to a Dameware PRoxy server as per the readme. (the readme has other errors too)
To be able to deliver HF releases in the shortest possible time frame we are delivering it as binary replacements. This allow us to target testing and minimize time needed for release preparation and delivery.
We are delivering all installers for standard full releases only.
On the other hand in release instruction we describe patch procedure for all configurations but it is not needed to apply it e.g. for Proxy Server if you don't use Dameware in Centralized mode.
We are not aware about any errors in readme or release notes, if you see any let us know please we will explain or correct it. Thanks.
Anyway we work to optimize our HF release process to make it as efficient as possible.
