Remove the 30 day expiration for the DRE Agent installer

We use SCCM to install the DRE agent. Unlike when the installer is manually installed, and a message pops up stating the installer is expired, SCCM will install the expired installer with no issues, but the agent will never connect. Automated installs become worthless should the installer expire, plus there is the additional administrative overhead of replacing the installer in the system every 30 days.

  • When does the installer expire? I know there is an option in the DRE Technician console to set an expiration date along with limiting how many installs can be done from that link to the installer. However, we install the DRE Agent in our environment using Altiris and all we do is download a copy of the agent from the Admin Web Console. We don't run into expiration issues with that install file.
