Have an API for annotation so that an activity from another tool creates a new annotation

Like the annotations feature we added to 9.1 but would love to be able to access those from other development tool. For example if you makes a commit in subversion or Jira that has an impact on a monitored instances have that be able to automatically add an annotation in DPA.

This would be great. I am currently looking into a way for use to automate the annotation for our deployments. Just recently was able to correlate performance issues due to a deployment because of annotations so I want to use them but currently they are a bit of a hassle being a manual process.
