Display the actual varbinary sql_handle or plan_handle for the DPA representation

Having the ability to click on a button or link to retrieve the varbinary sql_handle or plan_handle (that can be use to query sys.dm_exec_sql_text) wherever a DPA numeric representation of that handle appears without having to manually hunt for it in the repository would be a great enhancement to the UI.

You note "manually hunt for it in the repository..." do you have any advice as to getting the sql handle from the repository? I can find the plan handle but not the sql handle.

I haven't hunted around the repository much. If you send in a request to support, I've heard that they will send documentation on the schema. I don't want to have to work that hard; I want to be able to get it through the UI.

I understand that you have a current pain point, so I'd suggest you open a high priority ticket with support and they may be able to get you a specific answer.

Please add this feature soon.  I have asked for it prior.

A great suggestion if you need help always open a case with support. Unfortunately, the SQL_HANDLE isn't stored in the repository the plan handle is and might be found in CONSPH_XX where XX is the ID of the instance.
