This procedure, when executed, will create a temporary table and return three key resource metric indicators (CPU, Network Response Time, and Deadlocks) across all instances being monitored by DPA. This is a good report to use if you want to perform an instance health check every two hours across all instances being monitored by DPA. You can even setup a DPA Custom Alert to call this stored procedure to populate the temp table and then create another Custom Alert that will be triggered based on the values retrieved. Install the stored procedure into the DPA repository database.
Note: This procedure can easily be modified to include other performance metrics stored in the DPA repository database. You can get a list of all the Resource Metric Names for each instance by querying the CON_METRICS_#dbid table. Where the #dbid is the ID stored in COND.
