SAM provides two out of the box Mongo templates, one for Windows OS based systems, one for the Linux.
Each contains nine components most of which utilise either PowerShell or Shell to poll the data.
SAM also provides a MySQL database template, with some 39 components, this time utilising an ODBC connection (so it cares not about the OS it is running upon).

Have a look at them and you will get a good idea of what it can do out of the box.
You can of course enhance this monitoring with your own template components.
Yes, DPA can monitor MySQL just like Oracle or SQL server. When you are registering a database, you should see MySQL as an option (since version 10.0). If you are on version 10 and have available licenses, you should be able to configure and monitor today.

DPA does not monitor Mongo at this time.
