Database Instance Availability for mysql not working

HI,

Im using DPA 10.1 and found that running the Database Instance Availaibility alert against a mysql host is a bit flakey.

Initially, when i stop the instance, and test the alert i get the following which is correct:

HIGH

MYSQLHOST

TRUE

com.confio.ignite.common.jdbc.exceptions.MonitoredDatabaseConnectionException: A connection to the monitored database [MYSQLHOST] could not be established: Invalid Host or Port [cause=org.springframework.jdbc.CannotGetJdbcConnectionException: Could not get JDBC Connection; nested exception is java.sql.SQLNonTransientConnectionException: Could not connect to mysqlhost.live.x.x.net:3306 : Connection refused: connect]

However, after a minute or so, the result of the alert changes to the following:

NORMAL

MYSQLHOST

No results were returned from alert

Which means the alert doesnt sent out an email

Any advice or similar issues for other users?
