I created and activated a simple alert to check DB instance availability. However, it won't run. Status remains at "NOTRUN." The alert is active and is supposed to run every 5 mins. When I manually tested the alert, it worked beautifully. Why won't it run?
Below is an image that has snippets of 3 screens: the Alert Status, System Options (for alerts) and DB Instance Options (for alerts) -- for the instance I'm monitoring. That instance is intentionally off-line right now so I can test the alert.
