For Checklist 2 I am getting "This survey is not accepting additional responses at this time. Thank You!"

Level 10

I am getting the same

Level 9

Same here.

Level 13

Same here.

Level 16

Hey guys,

It's fixed. Give it another try.

Level 13

It works now. Thanks!

Level 14

Maybe I'm dense, but is anyone else finding Checklist item #3 part 2 a bit confusing? "Device number"... ?

Level 9

I may be confused, but the amount of tickets are even for both assets. Anyone else have this problem?

Level 14

Yup a bit nonplussed there too...

MVP
MVP

It looks like one was added today - so I ignored that one

It's a live demo so there are some changes that happen throughout the day.  As long as you provide the screenshot of the report you're good.

Level 7

I was thinking the same thing.

Level 10

My report is empty, so step 2 is kinda hard.

Level 11

Check list item 3 step 1 produces 0 results.

Level 10

same here

Level 12

Ok, so in a hurry and did not actually 'read' the question, just glanced and and thought Oh, I know this..... missed it.

MVP
MVP

wow this is weird - the end of the week and we still have less than one page of comments !

Level 14

Here is the bacon reference you were waiting for.

You can thank me later.

Level 14

Yeah, you're right... I just noticed that myself.

Level 10

Okay finally getting around to this one. On #2 maybe I was going too fast but how is it wrong to say there is a WMI based agent? Surely the question doesn't indicate where the Agent is, but the server has a WMI agent to do the polling. Therefore the answer is True. This marked me wrong.

Level 14

Well, at first I thought that the question was not phrased correctly.  After all, some deem WMI as agent-based (see vCloud Automation Center Documentation) whereas others do not (see Agentless Monitoring of Windows using WMI - HOWTOs - Knowledge base). But then, I thought that it was a trick question, and my answer was flagged as the correct one.

Level 9

I did the same thing. Kinda frustrating.

Level 15

Geez, I guess I don't feel so bad.  I missed the same one due to overthinking the WMI configuration.

Me too. I guess I over thought it as well.

Level 14

Week 2 still says it opens May 11... ?

Community Manager
Community Manager

Working on it as we speak! Sorry guys, I have been without a machine since MS Ignite last week. Accidentally left my charger at the booth.

Community Manager
Community Manager

Week 2 is now open! I am working on the week 1 winners right now.  Hang tight.

Accidentally filled out week 2 question 1 successfully but didn't finish typing my username/my old username. Considering I changed it recently, that means all of week 1 questions were under my old username too. DanielleH‌ can you help ensure they are flagged with this username?      I just realized last month may have been triggered the same way, too.

Level 15

‌week 2 is frustrating - having just exported network information via WMI.

Level 14

Exactly.

The documentation even says you can export all computer configuration information, which includes network information.

There is also a problem with question 1 since "multiple" means "many" and not "unlimited".

MVP
MVP

indeed - lots of guesswork involved in this weeks

Level 8

Quite frustrating indeed. Spent a lot of time reading all the documents I could lay my hands on, all said "multiple" but none gave any definition of what "multiple" is.

Level 10

Yep this month the question obfuscation system seems to be failing. I totally took huge chances on week 2, #1 and #2. Since I already am out for the TV because of week 1's question #2. Really don't want to be a poor sport here but ugh.

Level 13

Agreed. Ultimately I had to decide that the lack of specificity with "multiple" was probably telling me something, and took the leap of faith.

Level 11

No hint for Week 2 question 2. Hint link not working for Week 2 question 3. 😞

MVP
MVP

I really didn't like Q2

Community Manager

Looking into this... Hang tight.

Community Manager
Community Manager

I've re-added the hint for question 2 and opened it for everyone to submit your answer in case you missed it the first time. The hint link for question 3 should be working fine unwiredmedic‌ can you confirm if you can get here? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XKZ_-mrxW_A&feature=youtu.be

Level 11

Looks good to me. Thank you for fixing these, DanielleH‌!

Level 9

Where do you find out who the winners are?

Level 13

They will be posted in this thread (hasn't happened yet). The person who usually handles it is away until tomorrow. Danielle said she was working on it; I'm guessing she's running a little behind (plus she left her laptop charger at Ignite ).

Level 16

Hey guys,

We'll announce the winners for week one later today. Stay tuned!

Level 14

What about the problems with Question 1? The hint did not address the answer except in the vaguest, most broad sense!

Level 16

I'll have a look.

Level 9

Agreed!

Level 16

So, regarding the answers for Q1 this week, I did a little bit of editing, to make sure you guys don't get confused when reading the hint, but the main idea behind the answer is the same, and the correct answer stays the same.

Level 7

good, when is annouce the winners

Level 14

Since the question was edited, can we be given a chance to re-answer?

Level 16

Sure, just make sure to clear your cache and cookies before you do that.
