Why Am I Excited for “CIO 2020 Hot Take: The Year of the IT Pro?”

Hearing from industry professionals is one way we better ourselves. We frequently listen to people tell us about programming languages or new technology or future trends, but we often forget the other part of technology—the business side of technology. That’s why I’m excited to hear from the CIO roundtable about how they feel 2020 affected them and their businesses.

There are moving parts of the business with which, as an IT professional, I’m not directly involved. Gaining a better understanding how my organization does “business” can only better inform my decisions as I work on the technology to drive the business.
