Last monthly mission for the year..

advance Christmas & new year wishes

Love the prizes, looking forward to this months contest.

Hmm, question answered correctly, no points applied.

And we're off.

Level 11

Yes, this seems to continue from last month.  Myself and another in my section did not get points Dec 1 and 2 - Nov Mission even though the questions show correct answers.

Level 13

Ha what new!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I'm still waiting on some missed points as well.  I answered all question correctly and  only got 2,850 points.  It's a battle on getting all your earned points.  Good luck.

Level 8

same here.

Show me the questions!

Note to self - do not try to answer questions when you get up at 0330! Oops is all I have to say.

Level 14

Hi guys, Are you sure that the answer to Q1 is set correctly? Obviously I got it marked wrong, but I stand by my answer. Thanks, Robert

Level 11

Anyone here have experience with loot crate? Their claim of "over $60 of value in every drop" seems ... rather inflated, but it nonetheless looks neat, and this is the first I've heard about it.

Level 11

Agreed, at least based upon what was shown in the video, anyway.

akiebach My year subscription just ran out a couple months ago, and I now have a storage bin full of very expensive garbage... I did not renew my sub, as there was *POSSIBLY* 1 or 2 items that I would have actually purchased on my own... Products aside, they seemed to be a pretty good company, and quickly helped me fix a few issues I had. I suppose it would have been better if I had more control over what categories of junk I would have wanted. I did purchase the special edition Star Wars crate, and that was pretty decent... It came in a giant Millennium Falcon crate, and since it was 100% the theme I wanted, I feel it was a decent value...

In regards to having "over $60 of value in every drop", I reckon it depends on what you consider value... lol

Level 20

lolololol!

I thought I knew enough about NetPath--until I faced the five options of this question.  I'd not tested all of them previously, and after this question I have learned some more features about NetPath.

Plus I get points!

Level 11

No, not sure they are right as a matter of perspective, it looked like 2 pcs where given, the other needs to be added when the connector is setup.

Level 20

I agree there's something wrong with the question... it strictly stated outside of your network NOT inside.  Outside it shows 2 on the list and inside 4.  I know I'm not blind.

Level 9

This was my reasoning too.

Level 7

Agree, the question states outside of your Network.

Level 15

Anyone who got Q1 wrong has now been granted a 2nd chance. Good luck!

Level 10

I might be doing something wrong but the "hint" on Q2 just loaded a blank graph.

I pottered around the other dashboards and got it wrong anyway, but either the difficulty level has just shot up for December or that wasn't sposed to happen?

Level 7

Really? I can't see how to reattempt the question. 😄

Level 11

you need to move the dates then you can see that

pastedImage_0.png

Level 11

Mine too

Q2: Re-read the question, it states the link is broken, that's present tense, so maybe you should move the graph date to now

I moved the graph to today and don't see any red

I can not get my graph to move beyond 11:50 PM on the 5th of December.  Then again every post i have is moderated i think its a conspiracy against me.

Level 11

It appears to me as though there is an issue with the tool, as the furthest in time that I was able to move it initially was Dec 5th. I messed around with it for a few minutes, but couldn't get it to move to "current", even with "Live mode" on. I got pulled away to do actual work for a bit, and only when I came back (after ~30 minutes, though it probably didn't take anywhere near that long to actually update) had it updated to show any of the "current" problems, which reveal the answer to the question.

Yes same here.

Apparently I don't understand Netpath.  Got the answer wrong.  I was confused about whether I was supposed to pick both ends of the broken connection.  The question stated which router (singular) but it said pick all that apply, so I was confused.  Oh well.

Level 12

I can only see Dec 5th 11:50 pm.  I cannot move it to todays date, even with selecting Dec 6th from the calendar.

You have to turn on Live and wait 5 minutes.

Level 8

Read question carefully! I got it wrong, as well as others. Based on "config change" alert, I only entered a single answer and I am guessing they wanted multiple.... 😞

pastedImage_0.png

Level 10

Poo... Got it wrong... The question and demo were misleading .   :...(.

Screen Shot 2016-12-06 at 8.38.18 AM.png

Level 9

I see no path and no graph historical graph data. Anyone else?

Level 11

That graphic is different from the one which I saw. There may be an issue with the tool.

Level 11

That graphic is different from the one which I saw. There may be an issue with the tool.

Level 11

If you wait, it will eventually update. Not sure how long you need to wait for that information to be accurate, though.

Level 10

Same.

Am starting to think I answered the question too early and the "issue" I was sposed to be finding hadn't even happened yet!

Level 11

There seems to be some difficulty with today's tool. In order to see the relevant information, you need to change the date to be current, enable live updating, wait at least five minutes, and then hope that the graphic which is displayed matches what they were looking for.

The config change indicates that the traffic is now looping so dies on the link. The sample right before red indicates that R1 routes thru R9 to get to NetSuite. R1 appears to have nothing wrong with it.

Level 9

That is the same graphic i saw and It did say "which router" it was not plural.  I don't understand what it was looking for though, i got it wrong too.

Level 9

Now I just did Q1 today, and got it wrong. Did someone get it right today and can verify either via PM. It seems outside should only have 2 options that are listed, but I could be blind. Not worried, just want to know the answer.

Level 11

When you see it go red, don't just look at the first block that shows red. Click them all and look at the changes and you will have your answer.

It depends as you walk thru the RED snapshots in time the graphic changes. The second RED snap shot looks like this:

pastedImage_0.png

which is kind of misleading since sampling the GREEN NetPath snapshots seems to indicate that the route thru R1 to NetSuite always had to transit R9.

Level 12

Well I got it wrong but then I don't show anything down and can't get the graph to go beyond Midnight on 12/5.  I admit that I am new to NetPath so am trying to learn.

pastedImage_0.png

It changes one more time in the RED SNAP shots to this:

pastedImage_0.png

Where NetPath thinks that NetSuite is only thru R1.

Level 12

Okay, after 20 minutes it finally turned red.  Waiting on that is almost as tough to work with as videos when you are doing this at work.

Level 9

Wendy,

Any chance you can IM me what you guys placed as the answer? I can only see two being correct, now I could assume the last one via it maybe being called "Outside Traffic". Just want to know for my sanity what it was.

Level 8

Waste of time on these two questions. Bad wording of questions I suppose. It would be nice to know what is the correct answer because i learned nothing form these.
