Escallation of alerts

Is there a way to escallate alerts on NPM 9.5?

As an example, I get paged in the middle of the night because one of my critical nodes has gone down. This alert does not wake me for the 2nd or 3rd page, as the alert is repaging every 15 minutes until it's acknowledged.

If I don't acknowledge by that 3rd page, or within 30 minutes, can the alert manager page my boss, and then after another 30, her boss?

Check out the section in the NPM Admin Guide on escalating alerts. Let us know if you need more info.

I have the alert working, and it works the way I want with one exception.
I get the alert, and I acknowledge it before the 2nd level alert is triggered. The alert has now paged me and no one else. Once I repair the problem, the alert manager sends the reset alert to the 1st level and 2nd level. Since the 2nd level escallation did not receive the down alert, how do I keep them from receiving the reset alert?

I was able to do this by creating a second email trigger at the specified time. (ie, email the boss after 45 mintues which = 3 pages in our environment). I think the 2nd email trigger is now inline with the first, repeating every 15 minutes until resolved or acknowledged.

yea, i have set an alert for each escalation level as well...
is there a way to only display certain alerts (only the original, not the escalated ones as well) in the "alerts" webpage?
