Alerting on receive and transmit errors

Hi Community,

I currently have an alert setup as such-

What I want this error to do is alert when either the recv or xmit errors exceeds 1 and clear immediately when they are 0. The problem is I cannot find a value to use except for "This Hour". I have opened a support case, but was told it would be a feature request.

If you have an idea or a better way I would be interested in hearing it.

    Hi,

    Your alert is configured correctly, and support are correct in that there is (currently) no way of alerting for "errors now", just "errors this hour".

    I have this configured with errors this hour > 50, which works quite well in a number of environments.
