Customizing Reports in ARM Tool

Hi,

in the current ARM version (2019.4.2.4) all reports in the ARM tool are firmly defined by the manufacturer.

It is not possible to define the output columns in the reports. (for example: addind column "E-mail" in report)

Can a possibility be created here to set the columns in the report individually?

all data is already present in the ARM database by the scans of the ARM tool

  • I would really appreciate the possibility, too. Especially since some of the attributes are already there (like lastlogon/lastlogontimestamp --> it is already possible to report for inactive accounts via the standard analyses).

Also we have some operational tasks for checking for inactive accounts by reports created with e.g. filtering out accounts with specific values in employeeTypes or on specified companies and so on.

Right now we use our asset inventory solution (Lansweeper) for the reporting. It's crazy that a tool which is actually intended for hardware and software inventory can report on Active Directory more accurately and easily than the ARM.

Out of the automatic reports, we create tickets, informing the appropriate operator groups about their to-dos.

There is plenty of room for improvement in terms of ARM-reporting.

  • Like the idea! Also have a customer who wnats to edit the footer

  • Hello Sven,

If you compare the Keberos Report with the Web reports for example, the following fields are missing in the web frontend:

    IsDisabled

    Last Logon

    Last Logon Timestamp

    Type

    Direct Memberships

    Indirect Memberships

    Total Memberships

    Domain Local Membership

    Universal Foreign Membership

    SidHistory

    Global

    Universal Local

    Distribution Group

    Token Size

  • Hi Marc,

have you checked the reports in the web client available via 'Analyze and Act' already?

Would be interested if these could help you and/or what you are missing.

    Thanks,

    Sven
