FEATURE REQUEST - Automatic notification when a bug gets fixed

Have experienced a few times now, when encountering a new issue, 'this is now a bug, case is closed, check future release notes' leaving the issue continuing on site and in the dark, still doing the workaround or dealing with the issue.

Have explained to SW that from a customer point of view it would nice to be implemented the behind-the-scenes admin process to proactively inform those customers impacted when a bug reported is fixed and in which update, rather than to be expected to read every release note doc from then on just in case, whilst wondering if the bug will be explained the same, or even mentioned at all.
