It started with an unsolicited email

I received an unsolicited email from this organization. I never signed up for it and I have no idea what this place is about. I unsubscribed from the emails. But then I got a little curious and selected the reset password option on the login page. It sent a reset password link to my email, saying that my username is "__invited__qaddosh". Who invited me? How did I get this account?

The subject line was "There Are Only Two Hard Things In Computer Science:" The sender was listed as "thwacknewsletter@solarwinds.com"

I have attached a screenshot of the relevant portion of the email.
