I have a licensed IPMonitor installation that has about 2,500 monitors and now I need to move to a new server. SolarWinds documentation says to install a 2nd copy of IPMonitor on the new server which gives you a 21 day trial and a 500 monitor capacity. Then they give instructions on how to bring over your existing configuration. Finally, you deactivate your license from old server and activate new server. I'm afraid if I do this, it won't bring over all 2,500 monitors from the old server - just 500.
Does anyone have experience with this? Is my concern warranted?
