Popular Remote Connection Options in DameWare Remote Support

DameWare Remote Support allows IT admins to connect to remote computers wherever they are situated—whether they are inside the network or outside, and whether they are attended or unattended. To underscore and make clear the value DameWare brings to your IT team, we made this graphic explaining all the popular remote connection options available in DameWare Remote Support.

The latest release of DameWare Remote Support v12.0 has introduced a new connection type – which is #4 in the graphic below – unattended, over-the-Internet remote session. This adds to DameWare’s many remote connection capabilities allowing IT pros to provide on-time IT support and administration to remote computers whether they have any end-users present or not.

Deployment Modes for Remote Connection Types:

  • Use the built-in DameWare Mini Remote Control (DMRC) application available in DameWare Remote Support (DRS) to initiate remote connection.
  • Use the DameWare Remote Support application to leverage the built-in administration tools to troubleshoot WindowsRegistered systems and Active DirectoryRegistered.
