THWACK Monthly Mission – May 2025
Grab your virtual map and get ready to dig—this May, we’re sending you on a scavenger hunt through the SolarWinds ecosystem and the THWACK community searching for hidden gems.
From overlooked resources to buried tools and secret spots only the sharpest explorers find, each clue you solve brings you closer to glory (and some seriously fun scavenger swag). Ready to uncover what’s been hiding in plain sight?
MAY MISSION
Use the mission’s resources to complete the tasks and answer the questions for a chance to win!
Answer each question correctly during the week and you'll be entered for a chance to win the weekly prize.
Answer all 20 questions correctly over the course of the month and you'll be entered for a chance to win the grand prize.
150 points are being awarded for each correctly answered question. There are 20 questions, which means you can earn a maximum of 3,000 points for this mission.

MISSION SHORTCUT
Complete the steps below between May 5 and 30, 2025, to be entered to win an Amazon Kindle Paperwhite.
Shortcut steps:
- 1. Go to the SolarWinds Resources page.
- 2. In the left-hand filter menu, click Resource Type and select “Case Study”.
- 3. Locate the case study titled: “Customer Transformations- Powered by SolarWinds” (Published on March 10, 2025) and click on “Learn More”.
- 4. Click the blue “Learn More” button.
- 5. Read through the transformation stories to explore how real customers used SolarWinds solutions to solve complex challenges and achieve measurable outcomes.
- 6. Identify and take a screenshot of a key win that includes quantifiable results, such as hours saved, cost reductions, or performance improvements.
- 7. Submit your screenshot from Step 6 to complete the mission!
A new question will open every day (Monday - Friday) starting on May 5, 2025. Once a question has opened, it will remain open until June 1, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. CT.
