THWACK Monthly Mission - July Mission SysAdmin Summer
Hey, you—yeah, you. Do you know what time of the year it is? That’s right—time for the SysAdmin Summer! You work hard throughout the year, and now you deserve the perfect day. A day on a surfboard rather than a keyboard. A day where you can stop caring about KPIs and focus on SPF instead. A day where you can kick back rather than deal with backups. A day when the only roundtrip time you’re worried about is the time it’ll take for you to get to and from your vacation rather than the time it takes packets to complete their round trip.
Welcome to the special July Monthly Mission and SysAdmin Celebration. If you’re new here, let’s explain how the mission will run, since it’s different than our normal monthly mission. For July, the monthly mission will be split into two halves. For the first half of the month, we’ll be focusing on our tools designed to help take some of the weight off your shoulders by monitoring things and informing the people who need to be informed, even when you’re out on the beach. The second half of the month will be more fun. On behalf of the staff at SolarWinds, we’d like to take this time to thank all the SysAdmins out there who help keep the world spinning while having to deal with all the issues arising from a connected world.
JULY MISSION
Use the mission’s resources to complete the tasks and answer the questions for a chance to win!
Answer each question correctly during the week and you'll be entered for a chance to win the weekly prize.
Answer all 10 questions correctly over the course of the month and you'll be entered for a chance to win the grand prize.
150 points are being awarded for each correctly answered question. There are 10 questions, which means you can earn a maximum of 1,500 points for this mission.

A new question will open every day (Monday - Friday) starting on July 4, 2022. Once a question has opened, it will remain open until July 17, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. CT. Check the schedule below for exact open/close times.

To complete this part of the mission, you will need to complete the crossword puzzle by answering all 10 down and 10 across questions.
To assist you in this, we are providing a copy of the puzzle for you to download and complete ahead of time.
Answer all 10 down questions to be entered to win the "Down Prize".
Answer all 10 up questions to be entered to win the "Up Prize".
Please pay close attention to the rules on how to submit your answers, no resets will be given for any incorrectly entered answers.
