We tell you often, but we never get tired of repeating it. THWACK wouldn’t be what it is if it weren’t for each one of you. The input you give us and the work you put in to keep SolarWinds moving forward should be lauded often. Which is why, for the month of August, we implore you to give the product team some of your valuable opinions by answering a series of poll questions.

The good news: no wrong answers. The bad news… Actually, there is no bad news; this is going to be great.

AUGUST MISSION

Use the mission’s resources to complete the tasks and answer the questions for a chance to win!

Answer each question correctly during the week and you'll be entered for a chance to win the weekly prize.

Answer all 20 questions correctly over the course of the month and you'll be entered for a chance to win the grand prize.

150 points are being awarded for each correctly answered question. There are 20 questions, which means you can earn a maximum of 3,000 points for this mission.

We are ideating a new state-of-the-art Autonomous NDR (Network Detection and Response) into the Orion platform, that will be natively integrated with Orion NTA and will require NO additional installations NOR any configurations. Specifically, it will require no additional appliances, no probes, no sensors nor agents and will consist of sending a minute fraction of the network metadata (no sensitive nor private information will be sent or stored in any time) recorded in Orion NTA via encrypted channel to SolarWinds cloud, where it will be analyzed by advanced AI algorithms to predict attacks including of ransomware nature, threats and detect anomalies before they occur.
