Who Will Reign Supreme in Bracket Battle 2023

Fresh off the heels of March Madness comes Adolescent April as we see where the lines of divide lie within our community. That’s right – the annual bracket battle is back! And we’re creating more spirited debate than ever. How you ask? Good old-fashioned nostalgia. *Aaaarghhh* Gets us in the feels every time. This year, we’re kicking it back to your childhood. Please allow me to introduce to you the 2023 Bracket Battle: Toys 4 Techies! 

You know the drill - pick between the best of two toys in each round to see which toy is superior. These 33 toys have been taken from multiple decades and regions to create the most level playing field as YOU, the community, determine which toys stay on top and which get thrown in the donate box.  

How It Works 

Voting in each matchup starts at 8 a.m. CT on the opening date and stops at 4:00 p.m. CT on the closing date. 

• Play-in Round: April 10 – 11 
• Round of 32: April 12 – 14 
• Round of 16: April 17 – 18 
• Quarterfinals: April 19 – 21 
• Semi-Finals: April 24 – 25 
• Finals: April 26 – 27 

For each matchup, we’ve provided short descriptions of each toy, so you know when and where it was popular (just in case the old noggin forgot).  

While anyone can view the bracket, you must be logged in so you can cast your vote. The system will only accept ONE vote per user per matchup.  The totals will only be displayed after voting closes. 

After making your selection, you may jump back to the bracket to place your next vote. 

Points 

For each vote you cast, you will earn 150 THWACK® points. That’s right – you can earn a total of 4,800 THWACK points overall! All points will be tallied and awarded within 5 business days after the winner is announced on May 1, 2023.

We’d love to see your campaigns for your favorite toys with your friends/followers. Feel free to tag us in your social posts with #THWACKBracketBattle2023. Post a screenshot of your post in the comments here to earn an additional 300 THWACK points and a special goody from the THWACK store.
