2020 Bracket Battle: Reviver Edition – 16 Survive!
We have one round behind us and many still to go. 16 competitors rose up to make it to the second round. We have a strong list of sentimental favorites, ready to battle it out for the chance to live another day.
It’s not surprising, given the theme of this year’s battle, that there are some heartbreakers here. Well, heartbreakers for me and the other planners of the bracket. Alas, it’s all “spoilers” for River Song despite the fact that Black Widow already has her swan song movie scheduled for release. Donny was clearly out of his element against Coach. And, Littlefoot’s mom had but a moment before being SOUNDLY trounced by Mufasa.
There was only one close call in the early matchups (Maude Flanders coming in from behind to sweep the victory away from Charlotte), but I suspect it will get harder to make the call as we get deeper. Here is where we stand as we roll over into the second round:
