Haha totally understandable. I am sad to be informed that the manage entities page will be forced in the future.

Survey done!

Monitoring products we use netsight suite which can also poll information through SNMP or simply ICMP to see basic connectivity which is very much alike to Solarwinds. Also, we use Cisco Prime and Infrastructure that assists us in monitoring particular Cisco devices in a more proprietary sense.

dodo123 You could always do the export of custom properties and filter via excel for poller and name begins/ends with st. Though if the goal is to edit those nodes afterwards then that would then become a manual effort off a list. I think they were trying to allow things like this to be done on the new 'manage entities'…

You aren't receiving any of the insight data at all? Everything can't display or isn't showing up? Or it's just not showing the multiple contexts?
-
cobrien any ideas on this?
-
Another thing! I'm not entirely sure if this is what actually enables it to do so but there is a 'Cisco ASA NetInsight' option under the resources that you should check mark.
-
If you just removed that enable password, I would just give it time. I think I had to just give it time to actually go in and collect the info. Side note - are you sure there isn't an issue with the actual SNMP polling?
-
Are you seeing that its not polling when you go to the actual node?
-
Like cobrien said, on the ASA CLI section, remove the password from the 'Enable Password' section.
-
Yes kind of strange that the ASA's (and it looks like nexus in 12.3?) get their own special connection profile section.
-
Sorry I wasn't thinking and I didn't do the ASA monitoring one. What your original picture looks like is its trying to go into the privileged mode via enable but your login credentials already have permissions high enough that you login directly to the priv mode. For instance, my permissions do that so I just leave the…

Adding this information to notes is a lot of legwork that will not pay off in an organizational sense. I would recommend creating Custom Properties for items like Circuit IDs,numbers, hours, location and you can have alerts pull this information from the nodes. Then you can use these custom properties in easy reporting when…

Neovolt, If i am reading your question correctly..you should be able to setup an alert with the trigger condition set to the interface bandwidth. That way, if one of the interfaces then cut in half you would receive an alert. JJ

I would grab a guide like this one below and just run with it. Your current versions are good (I believe we were on the same ones when we originally did the SNOW integration testing with Solarwinds). You will need to work with your Service Now team since they have to get some kind of plugin on their side to communicate…

Hey were you ever able to find a solution for this? I'm currently running into the same issue.
-
codebender Try using % as a wildcard. It's been a while since I've created a SWQL query, but I used that for some wildcard purposes.

I think your issue is exactly what cobrien said. Make sure that you don't have the Enable Level setup and that should fix your issue.
