Sorted and working beautifully. Thanks for your help.

Following on from my post, I've worked out how to set the variables, and I can see the netflow packets arriving at the collector, but it's not being picked up by Orion. What do I need to set -u and -q to for Orion to see the network packets? The monitoring box has two ethernet interfaces, one that's plugged into a span…

I've also got the same problem with all monitors showing as unknown. Restarting either services or box makes no difference. Monitors are Exchange (via WMI), SQL (Via WMI) and a few custom TCP port monitors. Bit of a poor show really...

I'm probably being dense, but how do you set the parameters for the server? Any points would be helpful.

Also got the same problem, any ETA for a fix?

We've had Orion 8.1 running on x64 2003 for a few weeks without any major issues. A couple of days ago the syslog service chewed through about 2GB of ram and really slowed the box down. Process had to be killed rather than restarted but we've not seen any problems since. We're using an external SQL server so it's just…

Sonicwall Sonicpoint, Sonicwall TZ170, USR Professional Access points (5453), a collection Linksys bits and bobs. We're planning on rolling out sonicpoints so we'd be most interested in those, but the USR kit is also of interest. I believe it's Instant802Nerworks kit underneath. A

Unfortunately this doesn't alert if the storage component of the chassis fails (at least on my Dell PE 2950), for that you need the systemStateGlobalSystemStatus OID, which is: 1.3.6.1.4.1.674.10892.1.200.10.1.2 Testing on one of my boxes gives me an alert if there are problems with the storage controller, although Dell…
