Our product has a poc and a prod version with the exact same structure, only the URL is different. I have successfully written and saved my test scenarios on poca.com and run them regularly. I want to use these ready-made on proda.com, which is live and has the same internal structure as poca. If I edit go to poca.com, which is the first step of the same scenario, in the recorder and convert it to proda.com, can I run my tests successfully in the same way? Or do the scripts need to be re-recorded separately?

Its been quite some time that I have used WPM, but as far as I remember we cant edit the URL and reuse the same, there were a few options though (I am not sure if it would work, below are just a few suggestions which you will need to test before implementing it)
1. Change the URL on backed - SQL queries

2. Or try this - add an additional step in your recording in step number 2 give the new URL and test your recording, if it works fine then go back to the recording and delete step 1 which is your original URL. Because this is the only option to add a new URL on recording, add an additional step - actually it doesnt make sense as your Step 1 will login to https://poca.com and then Step 2 will login into https://proda.com then rest of your script should work on the new URL, if this works just delete step 1 which is https://poca.com which should alter your script accordingly as rest of the functionality is the same. I am not 100% sure if this will work but give it a shot. Dont replace the existing one, copy it and test it

Hope this helps. If either of these dont work then i guess you are left with just one option which is to recreate the complete recording.
