Many of our laptops recently went off lease and we are purchasing them FMV. I downloaded the asset template and added the serial numbers, purchase date and warranty (required field). When I run the import it says the serial numbers already exist. I am not trying to add new assets, but want to add information into current assets. Is this an option? Or does the import only work for new assets? This is important because I want to know which ones we purchased, and which ones are still on a lease contract. I am surely hoping I don't have to do this one asset at a time.
