Repeated OAuth Failures After Upgrade to 12.8.5 + Hotfix

After doing a complete wipe and fresh install of 12.8.5 (w/ hotfix), and after re-authorizing each incoming and outgoing mailbox, I'm still getting occasional access errors. I did find out that: 1, you need to paste in the secret again, and 2, you (apparently) need to auth the outbound first, then the inbound, because if you don't, you'll need to re-auth inbound after you do outbound. So after doing that, I'm still getting errors, but not consistently.

  • We have a scheduled task to create a ticket and auto-assign to either me or my backup every 80 days, since the auth expires at 90. We got to ignore the ticket this last time because we've been doing it daily for weeks now. I need to set up another task for the "24-month" exp. for the secret. Point is, yes, this can absolutely be a problem if you forget like I did once. Grin
