I have messed with this integration in the past and given my environment and the caveats with how this integration can deployed, I can't use it. That being said, I could usually get to at least the point of configuring the alert filters before that process would fail.

After trying to assist in some testing on this topic: https://thwack.solarwinds.com/products/network-configuration-manager-ncm/f/forum/103445/solarwinds-ncm-alert-integration-with-web-help-desk

Now I can't get past the Orion source portion. Targeting a 2024.4 Orion environment from a 12.8.3 HF3 environment results in an error where it doesn't think that Orion IP is an Orion server:

Anyone else able to get past this step or is this now a version incompatibility issue?

I cannot even get that far, it errors straight away as soon as you select the Solarwinds Integration option in WHD :-(

I did consider this knowing that the port was being deprecated, however when I tested with an older version of SWQL studio it connected without intervention so I assumed it was still listening on 17778. To bolster that, Orion polling engines are indeed still listening on 17778 AND have established connections even through 2024.4. I suppose that port will stay and now just be dedicated to agent communication, however, the port requirements document still shows 17778 or 17774 for API comms:

But I did validate with postman with a call to the REST interface and indeed anything on 17778 now shows as 404 while 17774 responds as expected.
