Filtering out VmWare Placeholder VMs from SiteRecovery Manager

We have 2 vcenters at 2 different location being monitored by Solarwinds. We have various VMs in use at both sites. Site B is also the failover for the production environment so it has a bunch of placeholder VMs. The placeholder VMs get picked up by Solarwinds as "Down" machines which is not true.

Whats the best way to tackle this?
