You can do this more than one way too... snmp or with NCM.  I just wish Cisco was more consistent.  Maybe they're getting better... idk?

Not sure why you can't find it since that version of the query seem to work fine for my nodes.  Like I suggested, install swql studio on your server and you will be able to dig into exactly what problems you are encountering with any specific search. 

Can you find the WLC when you search for any of the other available fields that it should come up under(caption, machinetype, etc)

I have removed the line in the script, but I am not able to find my controller when I search for it.

And why is this now?? Since as you say it should use the ip here still.

Any good ideas??
