So UDT has the IP Address Conflicts widget. Anyone ever see a conflict here before?
I have had duplicate IPs used on the network and no indication here or anywhere else I could find in Solarwinds except perhaps a node or BGP neighbour etc. being down as a result.
Anyone know what the requirements are for this widget to detect an IP conflict?
I would appreciate any methods others use including this one to detect duplicate IPs on the network. Duplicates that we want to detect could be either on a network node interface or on a host device connected to a switch port etc. Looking for all methods doesn't have to be limited to UDT could also include NPM, NCM, etc.
