How to get more information from the port

Hi,

as I have seen, UDT gets the information from the mac-address table on the switch. Sometimes I have devices connected (the port is connected and the light is green on the web) but I can't get more information from this port. The reason: these are devices which are not sending someting ingoing.

An example for the Active Endpoints (per node) report:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SW01
--------------
Gi1/0/1
IP DNS-Name Vendor MAC PORT NAME VLAN CONNECTION TYPE
Gi1/0/2
IP DNS-Name Vendor MAC PORT NAME VLAN CONNECTION TYPE
Gi1/0/3
IP DNS-Name Vendor MAC PORT NAME VLAN CONNECTION TYPE
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gi1/0/4
Te1/1/1
--> these are trunks which have MACs learned but were still not included in the report. My question is, how Solarwids excludes this and why?

Is it possible to read a VLAN configuration from the port?

Hopefully, somebody can help me with it.

Best Regards,
Michael
