UDT Shutdown and Turn On buttons for Port Details widget not working.

Hi all,

We are trying to allow the usage of the "Shutdown" and "Turn On" buttons in a Cisco switches Port Details widget for our support team (simple task). We have the RW credentials plugged into the SNMP creds for the switch in SolarWinds; but when someone clicks the button, we are still getting an error about the request not being able to be processed (assuming permissions issue). Any help is appreciated.

If it is erroring out when sending it via NCM, that means you are having issues pushing commands to the device. I think you might need to consult this on the NCM guys and most probably, they will ask you…

To verify I would try to change an interface description via the script execution module and SNMP (if you have NCM). If it doesn't work you know it's the SNMP configs on device. Pretty sure you can do this with Engineers Toolkit too if you have that.

I'm getting the same error. I verified that the SNMP RW settings are correct and we have Node Mgmt rights as well.
