Got my license added, now what?

I learned that I had to go to ports manager for UDT, add device, and then re-add the switch. However after 3 days, I'm still not seeing switchport info for hosts on my switchport. :(

I understand that it says IPAM, but it is the same logic with UDT.  The only difference is that in IPAM, the IP Address is the most basic information.  In UDT, it would be the MAC address.  So the association with MAC address and IP Address should be populated first  before it can gather the hostnames.

Ok, im not seeing macs on my switchports in SW yet though. Is IPAM required to be able to see mac-ip-hostname all together?

then that's the problem.  It is not getting the basic information.  It all starts with the MAC address for Endpoints in UDT.  If you have IPAM and UDT, it will be available on the IPAM page.

so far I've only purchased Ipam. Since I'm not seeing the macs even, I'm wondering if there's a problem with my installation?

I doubt that is the case.  I would recommend for you to contact support.  I pretty sure they are going to ask for the UDT compatibility checker.
