How to change value for defaultInternalShutdownTimeoutSeconds

Does anyone know how to increase the value for the parameter named defaultInternalShutdownTimeoutSeconds?

We noticed the following in the monitoringservice log file:

2024-11-11 15:06:21,495 [163] ERROR SentryOne.App.MonitoringService.SqlSentryServer [(null)] - Stop management engine didn't finish shutdown in 45 seconds. defaultInternalShutdownTimeoutSeconds can be increased.

  • Hi kekline, we had an issue where our monitoring server didn't have enough RAM and it stopped collecting data and didn't give us any indication that it was lacking resources (no email notification). When checking the logs for why it stopped, we found that message and we were looking to adjust it to see if that could help the monitoring server. In the end, support advised us we needed more memory and we haven't looked back at the this error again.
