Add Optional Email Alerts for Tasks

We have Catalogs which have many Tasks per Incident. When the parent Incident is re-assigned to a new technician, they receive one email alert for each of the Tasks on the Incident that are automatically reassigned to them with the Incident. Is it possible to combine these email alerts into one email, or prevent multiple email alerts (e.g. within the same minute) for Tasks associated with the same Incident #?
