Linux Discovery Agent – Beta Testers Needed

Is a discovery agent different from the normal Agents we'd see in Manage Agents?

The new Discovery Linux Agent works on Ubuntu OS and collects information on hardware, and software.
The Agents that exist today are for Windows or MacOS

Did an updated Ubuntu discovery agent that doesn't require installing OpenSSL 1.1 get completed?

 KurtW funny you ask, we have it slated to be released this Sunday (Jan 21, 2024) as long as there is nothing wrong with the release. Be on the look out for a post in our Newsroom when the release is complete.
