Feedback about SWSD AI feature

I am writing because I am evaluating switching the type of license on my company's SWSD tenant to include GenAI capabilities. Upon requesting a quote, I received an increase in the price per license of about 60% on the actual cost, and I would like to collect feedback from those of you who have experience with this change and whether it is worth it.

  • Are you coming from the essential tier? If so, GenAI is only available in the premier plan. You are getting a lot of other features with the other plan that you might not have considered yet.

     So the increase could be justified.

  • We haven't switched to it, but we did demo it about 9 months ago (and it is available for 30 day trial).  We elected not to move forward at that time, as lot of the benefit is based on the data in the existing tickets.  If your techs aren't documenting well, you may not get much out of it.  Which is definitely the case for us.  We would need to get our techs to be much better about all the steps that they took in resolving issues.  I'm sure the system itself has improved since our demo. I'd like to be on it at some point, but I don't think we are ready for it yet.
