hello. I am trying to find a way to manage certain types of licenses as assets. for example, a seat for a saas platform. if we have purchased ten, i would like to be able to associate the ten licenses to ten users in our system.
in the past on other itsm systems, i have created and tracked licenses this way so we know who is using types of licenses, and when we on/offboard we can keep track of the count. is there a more appropriate way to do this with swsd? i checked the docs and it's not clear how to manually add software, and i got sent in a loop around creating a contract in procurement but then i run into a disconnect on having a contract and having a license to put into asset inventory.
