I have configured the connectivity between Orion and SWSD. We receive alerts with no issue, but I am struggling with formatting the auto-generated tickets in SWSD.
I am looking for a method to take the existing Orion alert text from an HTML formatted email that we currently have and insert it into the ticket when generated in SWSD. I have looked at https://thwack.solarwinds.com/products/solarwinds-service-desk-swsd/f/forum/91138/orion-alert-integration/290419, which is now over three years old. It has opened some doors, but there are still pieces missing.
I was able to get some information in via the description field, but the HTML gets stripped off. Also, I would like to know how I can manipulate the default "bullet point" formatting, content and order.
We have multiple teams handling these tickets in different languages, so I want to make sure we include only relevant information to make things easier to troubleshoot before escalating.
