Editing Multiple IP Addresses IPAM

Try exporting it and then doing bulk upload after editing it via spreadsheet.  I no longer have a Solarwinds Environment so i cannot verify that for you.

Howdy Don, yes importing via spreadsheet is definitely doable but certainly not an acceptable solution.  We have a very busy IP scheme with multiple IT administrators and importing via spreadsheet is time consuming and fraught with danger :-)

Are you talking about editing through the new GUI? In that case I suggest reverting back to the old GUI, it's still there. Go to

YourSWServer/.../subnets.aspx

Can you post the full URL to the old IPAM dashboard please.  There was a time you could opt out of the new dashboard but 2025+ they now force this interface on users.

I too have the same issue with the new IPAM interface.  I had to revert to the previous version.  For me not only do we have an issue with the multi-select, the IP address search does not work either.  It's very frustrating.  You would think they would have done testing on this before it got released.

You should not be forced to use the new UI. If you are then you must have it selected in IPAM Settings under System Settings. I am using 2025.1.1 and can swap between the old and new.

That's true for now.  It needs to be fixed before the old UI is removed.  I just opened a support ticket on this and the search not working.

That option used to be visible from the landing page but now hidden in the System Settings. 

Why SolarWinds would take away such functionality is mind boggling.  Hopefully others on the interweb will find this useful.

Yes the whole "New Interface" thing being pushed down our throats is appalling.  The old interface on all levels is much quicker to load, more compact and more functionality.
