I only see the ability to add a new one.
Is there a reason to disable as this is one of there newest features and I'm sure they would like to know the reason, and if there isn't a way to disable maybe the option can be added.
Yes, I created one as a test and have decided that it is no longer useful. I should have the ability to remove what I have created to keep it cleaned up. How can this be done in the DB?
Indeed, it seems that this feature is immature, supports a limited range of alerts, and does not fully utilize all alert objects.
This kind of feature, which is still under development, is not recommended to be put in the final version.
SolarWinds seems to be very happy to do this, like PerfStack, which is still buggy, AlertStack, which is rarely used and doesn't do what it should do, and AppStack, which I remove from the web page every time I install SolarWinds.
Hi dodo123 and dilbert1234 you can disable/manage anomaly-based alerts like any other alert in HCO:
solo_kem when designing anomaly-based alerts we chose the metrics that were most important to customers, and also suitable to anomaly-detection. In the ideal-world all metrics would be added to the feature - but machine learning algorithms are not suited to all metrics types. We endeavour to add more metrics, based on customer feedback. I was involved in the roll-out of AlertStack and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. I'd be interested in hearing your feedback on the feature. Are you open to a call?
