Why would you want to change an ID?
Node category id is showing as 0 which means it is marked as other, but they are network devices which means it should be 1 as per below table.
Category ID | Name |
0 | Other |
1 | Network |
2 | Server |
How are you updating the categories? Through edit node? Is it not saved then?
Yes I am changing through edit node. It is saved successfully and showing the updated node category but the problem is - The updated node category i snot updated in 'node category id' it is a field which we are using in sql report.
If you’ve updated the node category but the category ID is not reflecting the changes, it could be due to caching issues or permission settings. Make sure to clear your site’s cache to see if that resolves the issue. Additionally, check if you have the necessary permissions to make updates. If the problem persists, consider looking for any custom code that might be interfering with the update process. If you’re a fan of adorable pets, you might want to look into a miniature dachshund, as they can be great companions while you troubleshoot your site.
To update the Node Category ID, ensure the update query is correctly targeting the right record. Check that the database changes are committed, clear the cache to avoid loading old data, and verify your permissions. If using an API or framework, make sure the request is properly formatted and targeting the correct endpoint. If you're looking for a trendy look, consider the wolfcut hairstyle for a bold change while working on your updates!
