So far at least one of our customer reported that users can't login reliable anymore since the update. (SFTP, Web UI)
Sometimes it shows a "Login was not successfull" Error, sometimes it just hangs with the hourglass spinning and seldom it works.

15.4.2 with the same issue here.
Even the local administrator cannot connect on a fresh install. it is very buggy.
ok, even "anonymous" logins were no longer possible.... (tried ftp, sftp, http)
when I set a new password for the user(s), it seems to work again
are we really back to the time when users with passwords that still use the old MD5 encryption are no longer allowed to log in?
We are having issues like that with our deployment as well. The vast majority of our users are LDAP users however we do have some local users.
What we are seeing is users will login and they will get a message saying "Operation was successful" and then when they click OK all they see is the login screen. If they try to login again they see a never ending spinning wheel. If they hit refresh while they see the spinning wheel sometimes it will log them in.
Oddly enough my account has not had the issue at all and even after trying 10+ times I was not able to recreate the issue with my account. I can recreate the issue every time with other accounts.
Thankfully, it looks like logging in using an SFTP client (like FileZilla) is not impacted. Which means 90%+ of our usage is not impacted by this issue.
I am going to be opening a ticket here in a few minutes. Hopefully they are able to release a HF to fix this sooner than later.
Call into support and they should give you a "Buddy Drop" which fixes the issue. I don't know what a "Buddy Drop" is but it looked like a Hot Fix, so I assume "Buddy Drop" is code for a pre released hotfix.
The process too less than 2 minutes to install and everything looks to be working great now. The "Buddy Drop" version shows up as 15.4.2.127.

Could someone post a screenshot of the erorr? With the latests update and hotfixes, I have only experienced this error in the mobile web client, never in the normal Web Client. From memory, I think refreshing the page or going back and then pressing login again seems to log you in. Its not a solution but it could be a clue.
