Produce a Terraform Provider

Is there any update on this?  Terraform is a pretty established and well-known method for managing resources these days, and it's for us it's a significant gap in Pingdom offering.

It seems like there's not been any progress on this since 2019. Any plans to build an officially supported Terraform provider for Pingdom in 2023?

Competitors to Pingdom all seem to maintain a partner tier Terraform provider (Better Uptime, Checkly, StatusCake, etc.) so it's quite frustrating not to have one available that is maintained by Solarwinds for Pingdom.

Resources in Pingdom are the perfect sort of thing to manage with a tool like Terraform, and it would enable teams to track changes in source control and integrate resources automatically with resources in their hosting platforms!

What is the current status?
I would really like to orchestrate node adds with numerous custom properties out of teh VM builds from Terraform.

I am a big fan of this idea, while also wondering about use cases. From the comments that I read, it sounds like some of the requests may be better suited to using a tool like Ansible. At a really high level, Terraform is great for building infrastructure, and then Ansible good for doing things to (or with) that infrastructure. (Doing = things like deploying an agent.) 

I hadn't thought about using Terraform to manage nodes and custom properties, and that is a really interesting concept. Would love to hear more and see or read a walkthrough of that approach!
